Things We Find Remarkable

by | Oct 22, 2014

If you have been following us on social media—which you should be—you’ll know that we do a lot of research on things we find interesting. It can be anything really; advertising, graphic design, or even something completely random that happens to inspires us. Here is a list of some things we’ve found on the web over the past couple of weeks. Enjoy!

1. Citizen Watches

Have you ever wondered how to advertise a wrist watch? We believe that Citizen watches has absolutely nailed it this time. Merely tell a story about telling time. Watch the video above to see them chase a sunset across the world and steal a night from the universe.

2. Neil Patrick Heineken

If you’ve ever needed a lesson in how to do celebrity endorsement advertising correctly, Heineken and Neil Patrick Harris get together to do it quite flawlessly. The video above is just one of a few segments they’ve done. Check them out!

3. Outdoor Google Advertising

This is some pretty slick outdoor advertising for a digital product—Google’s Mobile App.  ”Google has been running a lovely ad campaign promoting its rebranded mobile app. But some of the best executions have been pretty hard to find—because they’ve been woven into the fabric of New York City.”

4. Pixel Art

Okay, this one is a little bit more random, but this pixel art is amazing! These are made by a very talented guy named Octavi Navarro. He’s a self-taught painter and children’s books illustrator. Pixels, huh? is a project that mixes his own painting techniques with some of the limitations of classic pixel art. You can also purchase his artwork if it tickles your fancy.

5. Tools for the Twitter Machine

And finally, this is a pretty awesome—and MASSIVE—list of Twitter tools to help you manage your social media marketing craziness. We’ve found this extremely helpful, and we think you will too! Hope you enjoy it!
