Meet Our New Grad: Nate

And the Resound Creative team just keeps getting better!  Last week, we had the great privilege of welcoming Nate to the office as our newest intern.

Nate graduated this year from Arizona State University with a Visual Communication Design degree (Congrats, Dude!).  Actually, he must have quite a fondness for colleges, because he’s shared his designer talents with Rio Salado College and the ASU State Press. He also spent a summer interning at Monigle, a branding agency in Denver, Colorado.

Like any normal college grad, Nate goes to concerts, devours books, watches TV, and searches for buried treasure.

Nate found us on social media (because Mike has like a bajillion followers), and thought he’d apply for our design internship. We’re really glad he did! Secretly, though, we think he was inexplicably drawn to us because Resound is a place where dreams come true. #ResoundforPresident2016

Just kidding.

We’re already reaping the benefits of having Nate on the team, and we’re really grateful he’s here!  Now, we’ll hand the mic to Nate.

Resound:  What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen?

Nate:  On campus once I saw a guy on a unicycle wearing a top hat and walking a chihuahua on a leash.

Resound:  If you could be any talking animal, what would you be?   Why?

Nate:  I would be Smaug from the Hobbit. Because he sleeps on a mountain of gold.

Resound:  What is your biggest relationship deal killer?

Nate:  Cats. They are too mischievous. Plus I’m allergic.

Resound:  Say some random guy gives you $100 to spend on a single meal.  Where would you go, and what would you eat?

Nate:  I would go to the beach and buy $100 worth of fish tacos and hand them out.

Resound:  What’s your favorite thing about design?

Nate:  Making things look pretty.

Resound:  If you had to buy a celebrity mansion, whose mansion would you buy?

Nate:  I would buy Wayne Manor.

Resound:  Where is your happy place?

Nate:  My happy place is a rainy day with coffee at Barnes and Noble.

Resound:  It’s improv time!  Name 10 anti-bucket list items (i.e. you’d be perfectly happy to die without them):

  1. Hot air balloon ride.
  2. Country music concert.
  3. Run a marathon.
  4. Wrestle a bear.
  5. Crystal meth.
  6. Be an urban beekeeper.
  7. Karaoke.
  8. Own a snake.
  9. Wear Crocs.
  10. Meet Justin Bieber
