This week, Resound is sporting a new intern! A dev intern. A cool dev intern.

This week, we are happy to introduce you to Jeff — our awesome dev intern.

Jeff started coding while he was learning to create a website for his own business venture. “I really enjoyed both the programmatic technical side of developing in the browser and the amazing creative possibilities of CSS,” he says, “And then when you get the backend put in place really cool stuff happens. I like delivering that same kind of satisfaction to customers and know I’m making a difference in helping their business grow. I’m really excited to be here at Resound and I look forward to growing as a developer and contributing to growing the brand.“

Thanks, Jeff.  We’re stoked to have you.

Jeff has done some freelance work, and recently he completed an internship with Infusionsoft. He’s currently working towards his certification in web development from Mesa Community College. Oh, and he’s teaching himself Czech, nbd.  His most recent activities include modeling parts in Blender for his favorite game Kerbal Space Program and grillin’. (like any normal guy)

We’ve compiled some choice (and very important) information to help you get to know Jeff. So without further ado, here’s Jeff:

Resound:  If you were in charge of “The Fight of the Century” who would the contenders be?

Jeff:  Wolverine vs. Darth Maul. As much as I like him, I think Maul would have his work cut out for him.

Resound:  Would you rather solve a crossword puzzle or sew a pillow?

Jeff:  I’d choose to sew the pillow so I could sleep comfortably after the boredom of having made it set in.

Resound:  What is your typical Chipotle order?

Jeff:  Steak burrito, white cilantro rice, black beans, salsa, cheese, guac and lettuce. Side of chips and guac.

Resound:  If you had to either be surrounded by people or in solitude for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

Jeff:  Definitely people. Even though I’m not the most outgoing social person, I’d still rather be with people. Humans are just inherently social creatures and it’s more fun to laugh with and at others.

Resound:  What substance(s) do you think make up a chill pill?

Jeff:  Valerian root and chamomile?

Resound:  In honor of May 4th, who is your favorite Star Wars character and why?

Jeff:  Woohoo! I’m answering this on May 5th (Revenge of the Fifth) so my answer is Darth Maul. He’s way more powerful and dangerous than the movie made him to be.

Resound:  If you were about to be executed for high treason, what would you eat for your last meal?

Jeff:  I’d make it be as ironic as possible. Something like: cheeseburgers, potato chips, watermelon, apple pie, and grape soda. Let people scratch their heads over that one.

Resound:  It’s improv time!  Name 10 items you would NEVER bring to a football game.

  1. A cowbell
  2. Hockey stick
  3. Roller skis
  4. Macbook
  5. Vuvuzela
  6. Martini with two olives
  7. Michael Vick jersey
  8. Fencing foil
  9. Baseball glove
  10. Myself (hockey guy here)
