Derek brings over 15 years of education and small business ownership experience to his role at Resound. As an educator, his passion pushed students to think critically, express ideas with clarity, and pursue growth over grades. His background spans curriculum development, experiential education programs, eLearning content creation, and leadership of over 30 faculty members.
As Project Manager, Derek applies this same commitment to remarkable experiences with Resound clients. His attention to detail, ability to multitask, and clear communication make him an invaluable asset to the team.
Outside of Resound, Derek is a husband and father to five children. He and his family live in New Orleans, giving them ample opportunity to enjoy their love of travel, food, culture, and history. He also runs a small coffee-roasting company, Derek Sips.
