As Co-founder of Kindred - a business development consultancy for professional services firms - Mark believes that business development (BD) relationships that are built intentionally over time are at the heart of sustainable, lasting business growth.
Mark applies with every client his proven methodology for successful business development: The Reconnect Framework. This framework utilizes key relationship-building and sales strategies, through a proven, repeatable process, based on his 20+ years working in BD and consulting with accounting, marketing, and other professional services firms. (This Framework will be featured in his next book (launching in 2026) “ReConnect: The Art of Intentional Business Relationships.”)
When he’s not meeting with owners, BDs and their teams, he creates margin in his life to fuel his creativity. He enjoys plenty of nature time hiking, mountain biking and, in the winter, skiing at Mt. Bachelor in Bend, OR. When he’s not in nature he paints, reads avidly (ask him what he’s reading now) and is involved in community church events. He can also be found “geeking out” watching auto detailing videos, taking those practices to bring dull paint back to its full luster.
