Marketing has never been more exciting (and confusing) than it is today.

Brands in our digitally connected world have more channels, more customer data, and more marketing tools than ever before. But it’s still not easy to find new customers and keep them coming back!

We believe that great brands are built on a relationship-first approach to their marketing. When you speak to customers in a way that’s meaningful to them – before, during, and after their purchase – they are far more likely to be loyal advocates for your business.

Our approach to marketing follows this belief: tactics, channels, and content should strengthen the relationship between the customer and the brand for the long-term. It’s not only about getting the quick sale.

We’ve developed the process for creating an effective relationship marketing strategy.

We’ll help you:

  • Figure out what channels make the most sense for you.
  • Develop the content and cadence that delights your audience.
  • Make it all happen.
  • Keep your customer engaged even after the sale.

Here's what our process looks like:

Strategy and Implementation Plan

Typical Cost: $5,000–$10,000

This is a half-to-full-day workshop (plus 2–4 weeks of post- workshop support) to define the strategy and plan for your next 12 months of marketing efforts. We will work with you to tailor the length and deliverables of the workshop to match your brand’s needs.

Brand Definition

  • We identify and define your brand’s core values and personality traits.
  • We craft a brand story that encapsulates the core problem you help your audience solve and the successful outcome you help them achieve with your products and services.
  • We develop verbal guidelines with you that outline the unique voice and tone that should be carried through all of your marketing communications.

Audience Definition

  • We help you identify and define the key segments of your marketing audience.
  • We create buyer personas and customer journeys for each.
  • We identify the traits and problems that your marketing content must address as well as the key points in the journey where your marketing needs to reach your customers.

Marketing Goals

  • We outline the objectives for the next 12 months, such as attracting more relevant traffic to your website or converting existing traffic to marketing-qualified leads.
  • We help you the identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for your goals that we’ll measure all of our efforts against.
  • We set actual 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month checkpoints for your KPIs so that we can measure how well our marketing efforts are reaching or exceeding your goals.

Marketing Implementation Plan

  • We develop an implementation plan - a roadmap for monthly execution - prioritized by level of value and effort/cost.
  • We spread the costs out to fit your monthly budget and break down the plan by owner - some items you (or someone on your team) be responsible for while others will be handled by Resound.
  • We include a mix of ongoing inbound marketing initiatives (i.e., SEO or blogging) and one-off projects (i.e., website redesign or marketing automation software setup) as recommended by the strategy.
  • We stay sensitive to the amount of time, skills, and budget you have. We always aim to maximize your in-house resources in order to optimize your marketing spend.

Execution

Typical Cost: $2,500–$8,500 per month

Once the strategy and implementation plan are complete, it’s time to start making and strengthening your customer relationships by executing the implementation plan!

The level of support we provide for execution can vary based on the internal resources you have. That’s why we offer monthly package plans with point values assigned to various marketing activities. You simply choose a package and allocate your points based on how much support you need in each of the execution areas. It keeps monthly costs consistent and helps everyone keep their roles and responsibilities clear.

We know that every brand has different needs, so the packages are not intended to be a “one size fits all” solution. If there’s something you’re not feelin’, let’s change it.

The services in these packages don’t represent EVERYTHING we do.

They are just examples of how we can combine typical, ongoing services into a monthly bundle. How did we come up with the point values, you ask? Simply put, we evaluated the level of value to a business plus the effort, and complexity required to execute each one.

Keep in mind that these sample packages do not include one-off projects like a website redesign. Should that be recommended in the implementation plan, we can scope and price individual projects separately or allocate monthly package points toward a particular project instead of recurring activities. Any package suggested as part of the implementation plan will be refined to best fit the goals and needs of your business.

Individual Point Values Per Service

  • Blog post = 4pts
  • Blog promotion = 3pts
  • Social Updates & Monitoring = 3pts
  • On-Page SEO = 2pts
  • Landing Page = 8pts
  • Keyword research = 4 pts
  • Email marketing = 10 pts
  • Quarterly Lead Gen Campaign = 30 pts (divided over 3 months)
  • Monthly Lead Gen Campaign = 30 pts

Ongoing Optimization

(Included in the monthly execution packages.)

Any engagement should create, build, and strengthen your customer relationships. Yeah, execution is critical, but it has to be combined with regular analysis. If a something’s not cutting it (or if the market/your business changes), we have the flexibility to adjust with you.

All of our monthly package plans include a regular analytics report for tracking progress toward the KPIs outlined in the strategy. Our plans also include a quarterly revamp of the implementation roadmap. We've found that this allows for shifts in your business or your customer priorities while keeping the roadmap on track (don’t get locked into one roadmap for the entire year – stuck with activities that no longer match your needs).
